Ian Taylor lauded Jack Grealish as ‘absolute class’ on his personal Twitter account after he helped Aston Villa record a 2-2 draw against Manchester United on Sunday.

Grealish opened the scoring at Old Trafford by curling in a fine effort from the left-hand side of the box, with United pulling ahead thereafter before Tyrone Mings rescued a point for his team.

It was a brilliant display from Dean Smith’s side, who could argue that they deserved all three points against the Manchester club.

Nonetheless, after the match, club legend, Taylor, sent this message from his personal Twitter account, as he was pleased with Villa’s performance and Grealish’s display:

There were a lot of positives to take from the game, with the standout being Grealish’s performance, as he ran the show at Old Trafford.

Wesley, who has been getting stick for recent performances, put on a strong display despite not putting the ball into the back of the net.

The negative aspect will be the soft goals Smith’s side conceded and their inability to keep the ball out of the back of the net once again.

Villa have only picked up four points on the road this season, as they face yet another test on the road on Wednesday night.

The Midlands outfit will come up against Frank Lampard’s Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, with Tammy Abraham set to re-unite against his former club.
