Following Anwar El Ghazi’s successful loan spell at Aston Villa, the club have now completed the permanent transfer of the Lille winger.
Villa confirmed on their official website that 24-year-old El Ghazi, who scored in the Championship play-off final, has put pen-to-paper on a four-year contract.
El Ghazi has been a rousing success since he moved to the Midlands outfit last summer from Ligue 1 when he was snapped up on a season-long loan deal by then-manager Steve Bruce.

In his first few games, the trickster looked lively out on the flanks for Villa, but as the club’s results began to suffer prior to Bruce’s departure, his form dipped.
But when Dean Smith arrived at the club in October, El Ghazi’s fortunes changed and his form started going in the right direction.
One of his standout performances was against rivals West Brom in November when he netted a brace at the Hawthorns as he went from strength to strength after the turn of the year.

But the direct-minded attacker arguably left his best form to last because he produced a stunning display at Wembley to help his team beat Derby County in the Championship play-off final.
As a result, Villa will now be playing Premier League football next season as they have now ended their three-year absence from the promised land.
