Aston Villa supporters on Twitter have stated that they would be keen on signing Burnley defender Ben Gibson this summer amid speculation.
TeamTalk have claimed that Villa are just a number of clubs keen on the centre-back, along with both Sheffield clubs, Norwich City and his former club Middlesbrough.
It is said that Burnley are willing to offload their £15 million 2018 summer signing, with the left-footed centre-back struggling for game time at Turf Moor last season.

Dean Smith has two bonafide centre-backs within his squad, at this moment time. The right-footed James Chester and the left-footed Kortney Hause.
There’s no doubt that Smith will need at least two more fresh faces to play at centre-back as he plans for life back in the Premier League with Aston Villa.
Here is a selection of Villa fans on Twitter reacting to those Gibson rumours:
During the previous campaign, Tyrone Mings and Axel Tuanzebe were key players for Villa at the heart of their defence, but it seemingly looks like at least one of those players won’t return following their loan spell.
The Sun are reporting that Tuanzebe will hold talks with Manchester United about his future, with the player keen to be a part of the Old Trafford squad for next season.
Meanwhile, the Birmingham Mail have claimed that Bournemouth’s Mings will hold talks with Villa about a potential permanent transfer to the Midlands club.
